Our Offer

Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Vårdcentrum Finspång, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and emergency centers in the evenings and weekends, and General Medicine Training Center. We conduct a broad primary care operation offering care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

The health center in Boxholm belongs to the Primary Care Center within Region Östergötland. The operation currently has about 4,800 registered patients.

Job Description

As a medical foot care therapist, you will work with outpatient foot care. You are responsible for scheduling and calling patients from the waiting list. As you are an important part of the multidisciplinary team, your expertise may also be needed unexpectedly. If you have the right qualifications, you may have the opportunity to work with wound care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team. We are a smaller operation in a rural area, which means we are all flexible and help each other across professional boundaries when possible.

Work Group

About 26 employees work at the health center in the professions of district doctors, ST doctors, nurses/district nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, and healthcare administrators. The operation is characterized by close collaboration and a person-centered approach.

About You

Basic requirements for employment as a medical foot care therapist:
- Approved education as a medical foot care therapist

Experience in medical foot care is an advantage. We prefer that you are a trained nursing assistant, but this is not a requirement. It is desirable that you have worked for a few years in open health and medical care, preferably in primary care, but this is not a requirement.

As a person, you are confident in yourself and your professional role. You are attentive to the needs of others and flexible in your working style. You see collaboration as a given and contribute to a good climate among colleagues. You have a positive attitude towards improvement work and have a good ability to prioritize and structure your work. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and that you are the right person for our operation. We place great importance on creating a good work environment together and the right conditions to drive the work forward.

You utilize knowledge, skills, and abilities in your interactions with patients or in care situations. As you work in constant dialogue with patients and colleagues, it is a requirement that you have good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written. To thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important.
